Season-inspired baby names can be fun and unique. “I knew I wanted a strong ethnic name for my son and we whittled our final list to three of our favorite baby names, all Irish,” said Colleen Murphy, mom to 18-month old Shane Patrick.
While some prefer baby names that reflect their heritage and culture, like Murphy, others like the flow and tone of the name when added to their surname, despite its country of origin. Still, others may prefer a unique baby name among the sea of traditional names that have been around forever.
