On Tuesday we published Part 1 of Thoughtful, Practical, Inexpensive Baby Shower Gifts with a creative DIY gift by DIY video by MelChaosLife. Today, we’re going to follow that up with another DIY YouTube video that also is a great example of a practical, thoughtful and inexpensive baby shower gift of the DIY kind.
The perfect trifecta for gifts: Thoughtful, Practical, Inexpensive
At Randesign, we’re committed to trying to help families use their resources wisely. If you’re a family member or friend invited to their baby shower, we hope that you respect your resources and theirs, in the same light. A baby shower gift (or birthday or Christmas present) should be thoughtful, practical and inexpensive and we gave full explanations of this in Tuesday’s article (link above). A few days ago, we also covered: What NOT to Give as Baby Shower Gifts. We believe the time and money spent on these gifts are very important to both the giver and the recipient, so we’re glad you’re taking a few minutes to do this research.
Baby Cup Cake Onesies
With these in mind, we present a DIY video by GrowingAlways. And this gift meets our trifecta of Thoughtful, Practical, Inexpensive. If you agree, go give her a big thumbs up. FYI – the first 30 seconds describe a recipe for cloth diaper laundry detergent – handy, I suppose, but we’re liking the Baby Cup Cake Onesies that follow at the :32 mark.
We’ll note one thing… please be sure that you’re buying the correct size of the onesie. If you’re giving the gift in June, they may very well not be used until October (depending on where you live) – and that may make your onesies obsolete if you didn’t plan accordingly.
We’re always searching for more ideas of this kind. If you have any recommendations, please contact us – we’ll review and be happy to share the good ones!
Please note that we also provide onesies as gifts – personalized with the baby’s name!
